Hi there! I'm Faye, and these little furballs you’ll see around here? They’re not just pets—they’re family.
The journey of Purr Nook began in 2024 with a tiny, abandoned kitten who desperately needed a home. I took him in, gave him the name Happy, and watched him transform from a nervous little ball of fluff into a confident, affectionate cat who filled my life with love and laughter.
I had spent years designing a clean, stylish home I loved—but the pet products on the market just didn’t fit in. Bulky, ugly, or just plain awkward, most cat furniture felt like it belonged in the garage, not in my living room. I kept tucking Happy’s things into corners or onto the balcony—places he didn’t enjoy and I didn’t want to see.
He deserved better. And honestly, so did I.
That’s when the idea hit me:
What if home furniture could be beautiful and functional—for humans and cats?
I shared this idea with my niece Gwen, who’d been having a similar experience with her cat, Lucky. We’re both passionate about design, and we believe pets are full-fledged members of the family. So together, we decided to do something about it—and Purr Nook was born.
